Maple Syrup is our first crop of the season. Making maple syrup is a labour of love. This product is the most labour-intensive produce that we sell on the farm, and although not profitable, we cannot quit making it. For every 1L of syrup produced, we collect and boil 40L of maple tree sap! Why do we make it? We are obsessed with its deliciousness; it is arguable the best in Canada, or anywhere. We carry pride, tradition, and love for our ancestry with our maple syrup. We welcome visits to our sugar shack and sugar bush during the sugaring season in early spring; send us a message, and we will give you a tour!
We make our maple syrup using traditional principles and 21st-century technology. Our boil traps all the nutrition and flavour from the sap our trees so generously provide to produce a highly nutritious 100% natural syrup. We offer a variety of syrups ranging from early lights to rich dark ambers as the spring season progresses. All of our syrup is hot packed in the sugar shack as it comes off the pan.
The syrup production starts in early March and we usually sell out by June or July, so we recommend to stock up!
